Chan Marshall has got to be the most best under-appreciated, under-valued, low key female singer-songwriter of this generation. Chan Marshall has been producing records since 1995 with her trademark, distinctive voice (although now I notice a lot of female singer-songwriter follows her singing style). Chan Marshall have released, among other, two critically-acclaimed albums namely Moon Pix and You Are Free. Chan Marshall is a rare female singer-songwriter gem hailing from America (born in Georgia). Chan Marshall wrote some of the most beautiful melody but has never won a single Grammy (please correct me if I am wrong). Chan Marshall is in my list of all-time favorite female artist, alongside PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, Mirah, and Joni Mitchell.

Chan Marshall is Cat Power. She has released an album entitled The Greatest some way back in Jan 24, 2006. Although sadly I still didn' get the chance to buy the album, due to financial constraint, I did however got a chance to listen to the opener of the CD, bearing the same title as with the album. I have only two word for it: THE GREATEST.

On a different note: I have again been proved wrong with time, or through time, whichever you please, again. I can see clearly now that I am learning a lot and I am proving nothing. So, on an otherwise a terrible weekend for me last week, it's me at fault again and maybe for this week and the coming two or three weeks or so. I am so out of luck.

Ah well. No one gives a fuck right?
