That's disturbing.

This morning I received an SMS from NAZirah. Only by then it makes sense to me that this Naz person who messaged me the other week was actually a girl, and not a guy. I have lost your phone number, so all apologies. I really did struggled trying to recall having a male friend named Naz. It just didn't compute.

I'll try to come up with the theory.

I'm having a heck of a semester this semester. I am officially involved with two mega project and I'm holding four key positions. The two mega project I'm ranting about is the Literary Appreciation Week 2007 (or better known as Lite'07) and Nusantara Theatrical Week. I am the Assistant Project Manager and head comm of Special Task committee for Lite'07. The programme was organized by the English Language & Literature Association (or ELITS) and quite incidentally I am also the Financial Controller (read: Bendahari) (read: Ah Long) for ELITS. And for Nusantara Theatrical Week, I am the Stage Manager for one of the two plays involved. If there is one thing that requires more attention from me lately is the PC in my room.

Pada 16 haribulan Disember 2007 yang lepas, bertempat di kompleks 3K di SS13 Subang Jaya, saya telah mencatat satu rekod peribadi yang baru - amaun yang paling banyak telah saya belanjakan dalam satu masa, dalam satu resit untuk pembelian buku, iaitu sebanyak rm82.00. Ianya juga rekod peribadi baru saya untuk jumlah buku paling banyak yang telah saya beli dalam satu masa, dalam satu resit, iaitu sebanyak 18 buah kesemuanya; merangkumi bahagian sejarah peradaban dunia (yang mana banyaknya di Amerika), dan sastera agung barat. Saya tak dapat nak memperingati kesemua tajuk yang telah saya beli tetapi diantaranya ialah 'Brave New World' dari Aldous Huxley, 'The Prince' dari Niccolo Machiaveli, dan 'Utopia' dari Thomas More. Oh, juga terdapat beberapa buah buku dari bahagian falsafah barat. Antaranya sebuah buku yang membahaskan kebaikan dan keburukan Marxism.

Only then I realized that I have spent my 'borrowed' money too much. I just received a phone call from my mom and our family's only little faithful Kelisa has been 'kena tarik'. My father has only another one year left to complete the payment to the bank. So now that our family has no vehicle, Pimp My Ride, or shall I say Refresh My Ride, seems all more like a ridiculous joke, and Jeremy Clarkson's ranting on exotic cars every Sunday morning is stripped off of its purposefulness.

And I have only wanted to talk to my mom about getting me a motorbike.

Shite.
